Detached villa, built in entirely authentic Wieringer style, located within a small scale recreational park, just behind the dike at the Wadden Sea. Far away from all the busyness ... The rural 'mini village' has a picturesque look and has been constructed entirely in the style of some 100 yearsago: 'grandmother's time', where brick-paved roads, shell paths and grass strips were lit by traditional street lanterns in the evening. Despite the authentic image, the villa has a comfortable and modern design and is equipped with all the conveniences you may expect. The heated flooring and the gas stove in the spacious lounge area adds that little bit of extra atmosphere and comfort. The villa has 2 bedrooms and is suitable to accommodate a total of 4 people. On the first floor you will find a completely fitted bathroom. Your holiday home has its own garden, naturally including garden furniture. You will find the 'Het Lagerhuys' catering facility in the heart of the recreational park, which has a cosy traditional Dutch bar, a front and rear terrace, a snack corner and a pancake house. You can enjoy a delicious glass of wine from the own vineyard at the rear terrace, whilst enjoying views across the small fishing village under the dike. Plus the terrace at the front of the Lagerhuys offers views across the playground, where the children can have lots of fun in the sandpit, on the swings, the climbing frame and the slide. And after an intense day you can relax in the spa area the 'Kuurhuys'. At a surcharge you can enjoy several wellnessfacilities and beautytreatments. Villages like Hippolytushoef and the fishing village Den Oever can be found less than three kilometres from our recreational park. The island culture is still very evident on the old island of Wieringen. This island is perfect for exploring either on foot or by bicycle. A beautiful sloping landscape, where the traditional old villages and remote farms provide you with a fantastic example of what life used to be like in Wieringen. An exceptional location with the atmosphere of days gone by and the requirements of today ... where you can really feel like you're in the old Wieringen and take some time out to truly relax and unwind! Cosy Alkmaar
In one of the oldest parts of the characteristic centre of Alkmaar you will find a holiday home with a story... This special building originates from 1550 and stands as a symbol for victory. With the Waagplein square (where on every Friday from April - September there is a cheese market) just around the corner and plenty of nice shops, restaurants and pavement cafes within arm's length, this is a wonderful spot. Enter the large kitchen diner on the ground floor. A modern kitchen in an authentic space: indeed a special combination! Now the choice is yours: go to the first floor via the original wooden, somewhat wobbly, staircase or opt for the new modern staircase! On the first floor of Cosy Alkmaar there is a bedroom with a double bed and a television as well as a space with a wash basin, plus two separate toilets. There is also a shower on this floor. On the second floor you will find the welcoming living room with a seating area, a television, a dining table seating six and a washbasin. One of the sofas can be used as a sofa bed. Via a characteristic wooden staircase you can reach the romantic bedroom on the top floor. This space also comes with a washbasin. The holiday home is situated lively, you are surrounded by nice restaurants, enjoy the nightlife! 'Atmosphere, atmosphere and more atmosphere: wooden beams, cute small windows, cosy nooks and crannies and plenty of original elements. All of this is combined with modern design, such as glass partitions. If you like this and if you don't mind having to lower your head every now and then, to watch out whilst walking up stairs and you find tilting floors ' charming', then I am sure you will enjoy yourself here. Houtsnijder
Voormalige houtsnijderij, op loopafstand van het gezellige centrum van Bergen gelegen. Het is omgetoverd tot een knus vakantiehuisje, waarbij de oorspronkelijke details nog duidelijk te zien zijn. Het bevindt zich aan de rand van het centrum, op loopafstand van de vele gezellige winkeltjes en restaurants. Dit huis beschikt alleen over een voortuin met terras, maar door de hoge bomen en struiken zit u hier heerlijk beschut. Interieur: Begane grond: Via de zijkant van het huis betreedt u de knusse woonruimte. Hier proeft u onmiddelijk de sfeer van de oude houtsnijderij: de vierkante ramen, de houten balken, alles wijst erop dat hier vroeger werd gewerkt. Vanuit de zithoek (met open haard) heeft u een mooi uitzicht op de tuin. De inrichting is op natuurlijke wijze aangepast aan het huis. Zo is er een houten vloer, een houten eettafel en ook de keuken is aan de stijl aangepast. Deze ruime keuken is half open en van alle moderne gemakken voorzien. Eerste etage: Via de houten trap bereikt u deze etage. Hier bevindt zich een kleine slaapkamer, waarin een tweepersoonsbed is gebouwd. De tweede slaapkamer is ruimer en beschikt over een tweepersoonsbed en een balkon. De badkamer bevindt zich op de begane grond. (Roken is niet toegestaan)

Authentic Farmhouse in Grootschermer with a beautiful view on the 'Eilandspolder'. A lovely big garden with multiple terraces long side the water (2 small boats for you and the kids available). The interior is cosy and comfortable. On the ground floor is the living with sitting and dinning area. The separate kitchen is also situated on the ground floor. The bedrooms are on the first and second floor. The bathroom is on the ground floor. You find a summer house in the garden.Through some steep, small winding stairs you reach the first floor, where you find one two bedded room as well as a bathroom with shower and toilet. You can reach the beach by car within 30 minutes. The perfect environment for bike riding! There's a small supermarket only 500 meters away.
