Trek erop uit om het natuurgebied Jan Roepesheide te verkennen en natuurlijk het strand. De nabijgelegen dorpjes zoals Hollum met gezellige winkeltjes, restaurantjes en terrassen maar ook de musea zijn zeker het bezoeken waard. Ameland is een relatief klein eiland waardoor het uitstekend per fiets te verkennen is. Fietsen huur je eenvoudig op het park, of je neemt gewoon je eigen fietsen mee.
